It is with much sadness that I have to report that club member Noreen Kelly has passed away – she was just 4 weeks away from her 54th birthday. Noreen had been in Northwick Park hospital since last Tuesday. On Thursday she underwent an emergency operation but sadly passed away on Friday.
Noreen was such a popular girl – everybody loved Noreen. She joined Tanglewood back in February 1992. She loved music and when I was doing the Disco each week, there wasn't many tunes she didn't know. Oh dear, we will miss her so much.
On behalf of everyone at Tanglewood I offer my sincere condolences to her mother Brenda and sister Rosaleen.
Noreen is pictured below with the mayor last year and with Paul who always sent her a valentines card every year. Together they won our Strictly Tanglewood Dancing competition in 2012 and were runners-up a year later.
