The second outing on a Narrowboat along the Grand Union canal was equally as good as the first. A different set of club members went on this outing. The weather, which had been awful overnight, was kind to our group with just a couple of little showers.
It certainly didn't stop some of our group getting involved in opening and closing the Lock gates. They were all treated to a fish and chip meal – all paid for by club. See the great photo's below – it is a little worrying that they let club member Ben Cann steer the boat!!
The panto on December 8th was also very successful and very enjoyable. The Panto this year was Aladdin and was watched by 68 people in the audience. All club members were treated to free drinks and free mince pies.
Next Monday, the 15th., is our club members Christmas party with lots more free drinks and food.
There will be no club on the 22nd and 29th December
