Connor Tiernan who ran the Brighton marathon to raise money for Tanglewood paid us a visit last night (Monday 25th) and we all gave him a big cheer. He told us that he was hoping to raise about £500 but he has seriously surpassed that amount and so far the total is well over £3,200. Connor is pictured proudly displaying his medal for taking part. Alongside of him is myself and his girl friend Amy (Club helper Jane's daughter). The whole club gathered round to show their appreciation. The money will be used to finance our summer outing – coming up in July.
