We had a great build up to Christmas with a Pantomime – Robin Hood – on the 11th December and a week later, our Club Christmas Party. Providing the entertainment at the party was the fabulous Suze.
There are some photo's of both events below and, sometime in the next few days, I hope to be able to put a video of Suze singing with our club members at the party so keep checking the Tanglewood channel on YouTube (click the icon on this web site) where you will also see a video of me collecting the £620 donation from the Harrow Borough F.C. Golf society at the football club's annual Christmas buffet/dance.
On a sour note – For the second year running Dial-a-Ride took it upon themselves not to provide a service the week before Christmas, without telling anyone, thereby causing four of our club members – Susan Britchford, Jenny Carr, Sandra Burst and Jennifer Christmas – to miss the Christmas party. Dial-a-Ride really are useless, a real pain in the back-side – If I could manage without them, I would. Unfortunately I rely on them to pick up our club members who are in wheelchairs.
We now have three weeks off. Our next club is on Monday 8th January. Happy New Year
