PAUL’S FORTIETH
My Paul celebrated his 40th birthday on Oct 14th and I arranged a party for him at Harrow Borough Football Club. Around 60 people attended, including 16 club members (sorry I couldn't invite all of our members). We all had a great time. I did a bit of Disco and arranged lots of food but the highlight of the evening, apart from Paul cutting his amazing birthday cake, was our dear friend Suze – she did an hour singing lots of Paul's favourite songs plus a variety of different numbers. She really is amazing and such a lovely person.
Suze is pictured with Karen and Paul. The cake was unbelievable with a picture of Paul which was also edible. Fortunately there was enough left over to take to club on the Monday. I also put on display lots of photo's of Paul taken over the past 40 years and I put on an exhibition of 30 works of art that Paul has been doing since the pandemic. Everyone was amazed at the quality of his work. You can see some of them in the picture below.
A great time was had by all and may I take this opportunity of thanking everyone, on Paul's behalf, for the birthday cards and gifts he received.
