PAM – a tribute from Jackie Howard
Pam was one of my closest friends. We met 30 years ago at Harrow Mencap's “Activity Centre”. We had many funny, wonderful and challenging times there, from performing the many shows we wrote, to our outward bound course in Wales, which was full of incidents that cemented our friendship.
We would often reminisce about those times when we met for our regular coffee mornings in the Waitrose Supermarket. We called it our exclusive (cancer) club – the one that no-one wanted to join. We didn't mind though, as those mornings used to fly by as we talked through all our worries, aches & pains. We laughed and laughed as it was a wonderful release for both of us.
I am going to miss you so much Pam – my brave, funny and amazing friend. I will close the way we always did after out chat's “Love you lots”
