AMAZING FAREEN CLIMBS KILIMANJARO

Former Tanglewood Monday club club member Hanif Lalani's sister Fareen took the amazing decision to climb Mount Kilimajaro to raise money for charity and I am very pleased to say that Tanglewood will benefit from her extraordinary achievement.  Not only is Kilimanjaro the highest peak in Africa, standing at 5,895 m's above see level, it's the highest free-standing mountain in the world.  The incredible photograph shows Fareen at the very top of the mountain after climbing the 4,900 m's (16,000ft) from the plateau base.  What a truly amazing achievement and what a fantastic experience it must have been.  Fareen is hoping to raise lots of money for her extraordinary efforts and I am hoping to be able to give you the chance to contribute via this web site in due course.  In the meantime, and on behalf of everyone at Tanglewood, I offer Fareen our sincere congratulations and thanks for thinking of the Tanglewood Monday as a recipient of her achievement.
