George Edwards' number 79 appears for the second month running – not particularly unusual, a number has appeared in two consecutive draws 48 times before, but what makes this so special is that this is the third time that George has had a number appear in two consecutive 100 club draws = June and July 1994 (which were both first prizes), Dec 1998 & Jan 1999 (in the latter of those two he also had two numbers drawn in the same draw!). In May and June his No. 79 wins 3rd prize. George holds three numbers, two of which he has held since 1987.
Two of this months winners are former club helpers who both donate all their winnings to club as a way of keeping in touch and contributing to our finances, which of course is much appreciated – In Sheelagh Bovill's case this amounts to £687.50 in the past 15 months!
